Find recognized book, chapter and verse citations in pasted sermons, devotionals or articles, then review them against available reference data.
Reference report
Valid means a recognized reference fits the available numbering data. Quotation wording, intended meaning and theology are not checked.
A closer look at your references
Paste your writing and check it to see each recognized citation with its line number and explanation.
How the check works
The checker recognizes citations in your pasted text and compares their chapters and verse numbers with offline data. It keeps every recognized occurrence in source order and leaves your original text unchanged.
Questions about the checker
Which languages are supported?
English, Spanish, French, German, Korean, Bengali, Hindi, Japanese, Chinese and Arabic are supported. Choose the text language to help resolve ambiguous abbreviations; it is separate from the interface language.
Why do some references need review?
Verse counts use standard English/KJV numbering for 66 books. Some editions divide chapters or verses differently, and some recognized books have only chapter data. A review label asks you to consult your edition rather than assuming it is wrong.
Does this verify Bible quotations or find every mistake?
No. This checks recognized reference structure, not quotation wording, Bible translation text, historical claims, intended passages or theology. Misspelled names and unsupported or incomplete citation styles can be missed or only partly recognized.
Is my text uploaded or saved?
The check runs in your browser without an account, AI request or database. Text and reports are not automatically saved or sent to another tool. Copying a report puts it on your device’s clipboard only when you choose that action.
